9 OF THE BEsT PLACES TO GET LUNCH IN BRIGHTON

We’re so lucky to be based right in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine. As well as having some of the best shopping in the city, the North Laine is filled to the brim with amazing cafes, restaurants and takeaway lunch spots.

We’ve put together a list of some of our favourite lunchtime eats, all just a stone’s throw away from our coworking space in Tower Point.

Oseta Cafe

Conveniently located moments away from Tower Point, Oseta has recently reopened and we’re so excited to visit.

The independent cafe serves up a plethora of delicious homemade salads and mains making the perfect lunch.

Time for Kimchi

A local favourite, Time for Kimchi is a Korean supermarket come deli, just off the beaten track in the North Laine.

They offer up daily authentic, fresh Korean food at their deli, including the best Bibimbaps in town. Also, while you’re there, make sure to buy a bottle of their homemade hot sauce.

Foodilic

A staple of Brighton for quite a while now, Foodilic’s cafe on North Street is perfect if you’re looking for something healthy on a budget.

Pop in, choose your size to fill your own takeaway box with freshly made salads and mains.

Iydea

After being forced to close due to a fire, and then that whole pandemic thing happening, it’s been a while since we’ve had a chance to visit Iydea.

Nestled in Kensington Gardens, getting the chance to buy their salad boxes again has brought us a lot of joy.

The Pond

Head to The Pond for a sneaky pint and to try out Baby Bao for some Taiwanese steamed bun goodness.

Not only is The Pond great for lunch, but also a PLATF9RM post-work drink favourite.

Neighbourhood

Located just a couple of streets away from Tower Point, Neighbourhood is a great cafe serving delicious plant-based meals.

If you’ve got the time, make sure to pick a sunny day and have a luxurious lunch in the sun out on their terrace.

We Love Falafel

Falafel is a hot topic in Brighton, but We Love Falafel is a big favourite amongst our members and team.

This Sydney street spot is pretty popular, so make sure you give yourself some time on your lunch break. There’s a huge amount of choice, and it’s a great option to eat on the go.

Flour Pot Bakery

There’s nothing quite like a great sandwich, and Flour Pot are specialists in serving them. Using bread made in their own bakery, each sandwich is made fresh that day.

We’d recommend trying out their focaccia and, if you’re feeling a bit fancy, make sure to order their Biscoff latte.

Burger Brothers

If you fancy being a bit indulgent, then head down the hill to Burger Brothers. Voted the best burger in Brighton time and time again, don’t be fooled by the humble size of the joint.

Being burger purists, they don’t serve fries, but, trust us, the burger will be more than enough.
