This session – with John from illume – is about making sustainability feel manageable, realistic and relevant to your business. Rather than overwhelming you with everything you could be doing, he’ll focus on understanding where you are now, where you want to get to, and the practical steps you can take to start making credible progress.
During the session, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Assess where your business is right now when it comes to sustainability.
- Identify where you would like to get to and start building your own sustainability roadmap.
- Explore practical, achievable changes you can make across your operations.
- Pick up quick tips and ideas that you can start putting into practice straight away.
- Think about sustainability in a way that works for your business, your resources and your priorities.
You don’t need to have a sustainability strategy, know all the terminology or already be doing everything “right”. The aim is to leave with a clearer idea of where you are, where you want to go and what your next small steps could be. Because meaningful progress doesn’t have to happen all at once: small steps can add up to real change.
This session is particularly suited to:
- Micro to medium-sized businesses
- Founders and business owners
- Anyone responsible for operations or sustainability within a small business
- Businesses that have the intention to become more sustainable but aren’t sure where to start
Whether you’re right at the beginning of your sustainability journey or have already made a few changes, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on where you are and identify your next steps. Come along, get involved and start building a sustainability roadmap that works for you.
