Hasan, Commercial Director of Clinical Sales, Panakeia

Hasan leads revenue and commercial strategy for Panakeia’s AI-powered cancer diagnostics business. His focus is taking innovation from validation into routine clinical use, recruiting NHS sites for multisite evaluations, developing channel partnerships and supporting expansion into international markets including the US and India.

With more than 14 years of healthcare experience, Hasan has spent the last several years working within AI-driven healthcare businesses. Prior to joining Panakeia, he held commercial roles at Skin Analytics and Proximie, following nine years with Johnson & Johnson.

Throughout his career, Hasan has focused on the same challenge: helping innovative technologies reach patients by successfully navigating the NHS, from clinicians and pathologists to commissioners and healthcare systems.

About Panakeia

Panakeia is a world-leading in silico multi-omics company developing artificial intelligence solutions that uncover complete biology at scale and accelerate precision medicine research, drug discovery, development and clinical decision-making.

Its flagship platform, PANProfiler, uses a biology-first AI approach to determine biomarker status across DNA, RNA, proteins and metabolites directly from routinely used pathology tissue images, helping clinicians access critical diagnostic information in minutes rather than days or weeks.

The platform has been independently validated through peer-reviewed publications, including Nature Communications Medicine, where it was recognised as one of the journal’s Top 25 papers of 2024.

Two UKCA-marked clinical products, PANProfiler Breast and PANProfiler Colorectal, are already being used within hospitals to support faster and more accessible precision diagnostics. Panakeia is currently supporting a multi-site NHS evaluation of PANProfiler Colorectal and was selected to participate in the MHRA’s AI Airlock regulatory sandbox, helping shape the future of AI diagnostic regulation in the UK.

Dr Alexandru-Átilá Morlocan, Founder, CEO & CSO, Nightingale & Sentinel

Dr Alexandru-Átilá Morlocan is an NHS Emergency Medicine physician, deep-tech architect and founder of Nightingale & Sentinel. Combining frontline clinical experience with advanced AI engineering, Atila is dedicated to building privacy-first artificial intelligence that solves systemic healthcare challenges.

A passionate advocate for clinician-led AI governance, he champions technology that supports healthcare professionals whilst ensuring diagnostic authority remains firmly in human hands.

About Nightingale & Sentinel

Nightingale & Sentinel has developed Virtual Witness, the world’s first privacy-first evidence layer for unwitnessed medical emergencies.

Every year, the NHS ambulance service responds to more than 3.3 million callouts involving people aged over 65, with falls accounting for a significant proportion of those emergencies. In care homes alone, an estimated 240,000 unwitnessed falls annually can result in diagnostic uncertainty, unnecessary ambulance callouts and avoidable hospital admissions.

Virtual Witness transforms existing camera infrastructure into passive clinical sensors. Within 40 seconds of an incident, clinicians receive an objective event report whilst raw footage is processed locally and immediately deleted, ensuring patient dignity and privacy.

Supported by NVIDIA Inception, Google for Startups, Barclays Eagle Labs, Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex and Innovate UK Business Growth, Nightingale & Sentinel is launching its clinical pilot with South Central Ambulance Service this autumn.
