MENs HEALTH MoNTH
MEN’S HEALTH MONTH
Now more than ever, the concept of wellness is becoming more and more a hot topic of discussion. But, it’s important to remember that when it comes to men, just like women and everyone else in between, there are unique and diverse needs that have to be met.
This year we wanted to take a more active role in promoting men’s mental well-being so we’ve put together a series of events, workshops and other perks for this month. So here’s our schedule going forward!
Four out of five men say they feel more confident after a haircut, with 70% of men saying that their hair has caused issues with their confidence. So for Men's Health Month we've partnered with LuckyNineBarber to provide our members with free haircuts at the end of November.
If you missed our email, get in touch with email@example.com for more info on how to get your complimentary cut!
We're inviting everyone that's able, to join us and grow a 'tache this Movember. Movember is an annual event to raise awareness of men's health issues, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. So take action now and start growing a marvellous moustache.
We all know that we should be eating clean, but it's sometimes a little harder than you expect. Long days, sleep deprivation, general ick-iness, all get in the way of making sure you're getting the nutrition you need for a healthy mind and body. So, we thought we'd alleviate some of that stress, at least for one day. Our resident culinary champion, Natasha will be cheffing up a lunch of your dreams on the last week of November.
If you're unsure how to approach a difficult conversation with a man in your life then you can start here with Movember conversations. It's a chat and video tool, designed to simulate or give tips on how to stimulate difficult convos.
Now more than ever, the concept of wellness is becoming more and more a hot topic of discussion. At this point, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary to hear your Great Uncle Stan and Great Aunt Sheila talking about the importance of mental health and wellness - so that’s progress. But, it’s important to remember that when it comes to men, just like women and everyone else in between, there are unique and diverse needs that have to be met. Where this becomes challenging is that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Not for women, not for men, not for anyone.
