A survivor-activist and a film-critic/therapist review scenes of child sexual abuse in films.
Part one is a history in western cinema, including scenes from High Society (1956), Lolita (1962), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992), Precious (2009), Poor Things (2024).Snacks will be included in the ticket price and provided by Cry Baby Bakes.Please note: please arrive on time as we will be discussing child sexual abuse and want to create a comfortable and disruption-free environment for everyone.

Andrew Asibong is counsellor and psychotherapist with specialist expertise in inter-cultural psychotherapy, and particular interest in developmental and early relational trauma.

Sophia Luu is founder of Secrets Worth Sharing and a trauma-informed Designer. She focuses on topics people find hard to talk about in a joyful and playful way.
